We built them a bold, film-first website that puts their showreel front and centre, letting their corporate films, branded content and scripted work do the talking from the very first scroll.

Black Swan Productions is one of Wales' leading content production companies, based at Great Point Studios in Cardiff and recently named winners of the Creative Impact Award at the Wales Business Awards. Across five years they have built a formidable reputation, producing exceptional video for Welsh brands, award-winning scripted content and a growing slate of video podcasts and independent films. They came to us needing a website with the same production values as the work they put on screen.

Their craft is visual, so we made the website visual too. We led with a full-bleed showreel, letting motion carry the brand the moment the page loads, and built the whole experience around their footage rather than around blocks of text. The result feels less like a brochure and more like sitting in the edit suite watching the best of their work play out.

We designed a confident, monochrome identity that takes its cue from the Black Swan mark itself, all deep blacks, clean white type and generous space, so nothing competes with the films. Every template, from the home page to individual project case studies, is built to frame video beautifully on any device, with fast load times that keep the showreel playing smoothly rather than buffering.

Structure mattered as much as style. We organised their output into clear strands, corporate and brand films, scripted work, and their podcast and film ventures, so a prospective client can land on the site, immediately grasp the breadth of what Black Swan do, and find the relevant reel in a couple of clicks. Clear calls to action throughout turn that interest into enquiries.
